Fish Hatchery

The fish hatchery is a great place to walk around and take in the sites. The hatchery has both rainbow and brook Trout. It is close to the JFK campgrounds and Collins Creek.

Winkley Bridge Site

The Winkley Bridge holds a lot of history for Cleburne County. It was in service from 1912-1972. It was open to foot traffic until it collapsed in 1989. Near the river you can see a beautiful view of Sugarloaf Mountain.

JFK Overlook 

JFK overlook is a beuatiful spot with a great view of both Greers Ferry Lake and the Little Red River. It is dedicated to President John F Kennedy who dedicated the Dam in 1963.

Carl Garner Visitor Center

The visitor center is a great place to stop and gather information for anyone interested in knowing what all Cleburne County has to offer. It also houses a small museum and information on the Greers Ferry Dam along with an auditorium that features slides shows.

Historical Society

The Historical Society is a museum and research library. It showcases the rich history of the County with many artifacts and pieces of unique history. The building itself has an intriguing story along with an original Mural.

Toy Train Museum

This two story museum houses over 90 years of toy train collecting and has a wide variety of real train memorabilia and ten operating train layouts. A great place for kids and adults alike!

Cleburne County Courthouse

This Courthouse was constructed in 1914 and has a wealth of history. Beautifully constructed in the Jeffersonian Revival Style this building is a must see.
