FOR SALE: All of Blocks Eight (8) and Nine (9) and vacated street lying between the blocks, Depot Addition to the Town of Heber Springs, Cleburne County, Arkansas, as filed July 17,1908, in the plat records of Cleburne County, Arkansas. This sale will include all buildings and structures on the property. This property will be offered for sale to the public by sealed bid. There is a minimum sealed bid of $135,720. Appraised value of the property is $180,960. Sealed bids will be accepted between the dates of Wednesday, May 1st, and Monday, May 20th, until 4 pm. Bids will be opened at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 21st 2019, at the office of the Cleburne County Judge Jerry Holmes, 300 West Main Street, Heber Springs, AR 72543.
TERMS OF SALE: If an acceptable bid is received, purchaser shall be required to escrow as earnest money $2,500 within 10 days of being notified that his/her bid has been accepted. The remaining balance shall be due within 30 days of the opening bid date. Transfer of this property will be by special Warranty Deed. Each party will be responsible for paying the usual closing costs. Purchaser shall, at his/her expense, take whatever steps deemed necessary to ensure passage of clear title. The County Judge reserves the right to refuse any or all bids.
